1. We do not use cookies

This website sets no cookies at all. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no tracking cookies. We do not load any third-party cookies, and there are no tracking pixels, beacons, or fingerprinting scripts anywhere on the site.

We do not run an analytics platform, so there is nothing measuring your visit, your clicks, or where you came from. We do not know who you are and we are not trying to find out.

2. The two things we do store

Instead of cookies, the site keeps two small functional values in your browser's localStorage. localStorage is different from cookies: it is read only by the page you are on, in your browser, and it is never attached to network requests or sent to any server.

• noop-theme remembers whether you chose the light or dark version of the site, so it looks the same next time you visit.
• noop-privacy-ack remembers that you dismissed the privacy notice, so we do not show it to you again on every page.

That is the complete list. Both values are functional: they exist only to make the site work the way you left it. Neither leaves your device, and neither identifies you.

Under UK and EU PECR rules, strictly functional storage like this does not require a consent banner, because it is needed to provide a service you have asked for and does no tracking. We show a short informational privacy notice anyway, because being upfront is the point.

3. How to clear them

You can remove both values whenever you like. In your browser, use the option to clear site data or browsing data for this site, or open developer tools and delete the two keys from localStorage by hand. Most browsers let you do this per-site without touching anything else.

Nothing breaks if you clear them. The site simply forgets your theme choice and shows the privacy notice again, and you can set both back the way you want with a click.

4. Third parties

There are no third parties embedded in this site. No advertising networks, no social media widgets, no embedded trackers, no external fonts or scripts phoning home. Because nothing third-party is loaded, no third party can set a cookie or read your storage through us.
